About Phillip

I am Phil “The Boxing Yak” Hulands. I earned my nickname from the yak, an animal known for thriving in harsh conditions where others would struggle to survive. I don’t let my physical challenges define me, instead I use them as motivation to grow stronger, push my limits, and keep moving forward.

Goals in Boxing

My goal is to forge a new future, rather than walk the path others have set for me. Through boxing, I aim to push beyond every limitation, continue breaking boundaries, and ultimately win a gold medal while proving what’s truly possible.

About Warren

Warren Percival, known in the ring as “Roy”, is a Standing Adaptive Boxer representing Brisbane, QLD. As AABC #003, he brings a mindset forged through years of rebuilding his body after neurological and physical trauma. His approach to training is defined by discipline, resilience, and a refusal to accept limitations. “Roy” is the competitive edge of Warren’s personality; the part that thrives under pressure, embraces adversity, and steps forward when things get hard. This alter-ego reflects Warren’s belief that adaptive athletes are not defined by their challenges, but by how they rise above them. Outside the ring, Warren is an Adaptive Bodybuilder and Fitness Coach who uses lived experience to empower others. His presence in adaptive sport is driven by authenticity, purpose, and a commitment to showing what strength truly looks like.

Goals in Boxing

Warren’s mission in boxing is to demonstrate what is possible when resilience meets intent. His goal is to progress through the AABC pathway, compete nationally, and represent the Standing Physical Challenged division with pride and professionalism. He aims to inspire others living with neurological and physical challenges by proving that adaptive athletes can stand toe-to-toe with life’s hardest moments. For Warren, boxing is not about sympathy, it is about capability, courage, and the relentless pursuit of self-mastery. As he continues developing under The Good Fight Gym Brisbane, Warren is preparing for competitive availability from March 2027, with a long-term vision of becoming a respected figure in Australia’s adaptive boxing community.

About Conor

I’ve dabbled in many different sports and hobbies (Aussie rules, BMX, skateboarding, etc) throughout my youth and early adulthood which have resulted in numerous injuries and ongoing body maintenance. This has limited some of my movement and abilities. I’ve always been inspired by the discipline and strength involved in martial arts. This has influenced my own goals around my personal health and wellbeing.

Goals in Boxing

My goals around boxing and Muay Thai are to improve and maintain my fitness and mobility, improve my mental fortitude, socialising, feeling secure as well as recently, getting involved in competition.

About Dallas

I have been boxing for 15 years and also become a personal trainer in 2013. Training others is my passion but boxing is my love! I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at Xmas of 2022 and thought my boxing days were over but I was very wrong. I've had 4 fights since diagnoses and I am a better fighter than ever thanks to my trainers. I will not give in to this disease. I was a born fighter, the daughter of a pro fighter, it's in my blood and I will continue to keep fighting. I am Dallas “The Butcher's Daughter”, fighter and MS warrior.

Goals in Boxing

My goals are simple, just keep fighting and having as many fights as I can and keep growing and learning as a fighter. I also want to motivate and inspire others to do the same. My dream is to train a fighter all the way to the ring. I am currently the only person in Australia actively fighting with MS so I'm very proud of that, but hope to have others join me in this fight game.

About Bradd

Hi, I'm Bradd, and I love everything about boxing. Whether it's training, sparring, learning new skills or stepping into the ring, it's all fun to me. Living with Leigh syndrome, a lot of people have told me things I can't do, but boxing has given me a voice to show people what I can do. The coaches have taught me a lot, and I'm always looking for ways to improve. I've still got plenty to learn, but these days the only thing faster than my mouth is my hands.

Goals in Boxing

I want to keep improving, have more fights, and continue challenging myself in the ring. Most importantly, I want to show others with a disability that they shouldn't let anyone tell them what they can or can't do. I like having a laugh, and I want to help keep boxing fun for everyone around me. My advice is simple: give it a go.
